Corporate social responsibility is a guiding principle for Lavalpa, formed and sedimented during its more than 60 years of activities. The company investments are focused on the education sector, as on the "Creche Maria de Nazaré" project.

The-day care center started taking care of 55 children and currently has 120 pupils within 4 months to 6 years, and is kept in an own company building. The institution works based on partnerships with the public and private sectors, including the City hall, which guarantees the alimentation of all the children.

The day-care center is directed by a pedagogue specialized in infantile education and all pedagogical program is followed by the Supervision Management for Education of the City Department of Education of Jacareí.
